Refund Policy
Effective date: June 21, 2026 · Synaptis Technologies LLC
1. Overview
TamashaGo is a marketplace platform. Ticket purchase contracts are between the buyer and the organizer; TamashaGo facilitates the transaction and administers the refund process on behalf of both parties. This policy sets out the complete refund entitlements for all ticket purchases made through TamashaGo.
2. Buyer-Initiated Cancellations
Buyers who wish to cancel their ticket purchase may do so subject to the following schedule, calculated based on time remaining before the event's scheduled start:
| Time before event | Face value refund | Service fee |
|---|---|---|
| More than 14 days | 100% of face value | Non-refundable |
| 7 – 14 days | 75% of face value | Non-refundable |
| 3 – 7 days (72 hrs to 7 days) | 50% of face value | Non-refundable |
| Less than 72 hours / day of event | No refund | Non-refundable |
Where the organizer has enabled ticket transfers, buyers within the <72-hour window may transfer their ticket to another named individual through the platform at no charge.
3. Event Cancelled by Organizer
If an organizer cancels an event for any reason — including force majeure — buyers are entitled to a full refund of 100% of the ticket face value plus all service fees.
Refunds are issued to the original payment method and processed within 5 to 10 business days of the cancellation announcement. The refund obligation applies regardless of the reason for cancellation, including natural disasters, pandemics, or regulatory shutdowns.
4. Event Postponed by Organizer
If an organizer postpones an event, buyers will receive written notification within 48 hours of TamashaGo being notified. Each buyer then has 7 calendar days from TamashaGo's notification to elect:
- Option A: Transfer the ticket to the new event date at no charge.
- Option B: Full refund of face value plus all service fees within 5–10 business days.
Buyers who do not respond within the 7-day window will have their tickets automatically transferred to the new date. No further refund will be available after the election window closes.
5. Event Materially Changed
A “material change” includes: primary venue changed to a significantly different location; headliner replaced; event duration shortened by more than 30%; or event date changed by more than 7 days.
Buyers have the same election rights (Options A and B) and 7-day response window as set out in Section 4.
6. Service Fee Non-Refundability
The TamashaGo platform fee (5% of face value) and Stripe processing fee (2.9% + $0.30 per order) are non-refundable on all buyer-initiated cancellations, regardless of timing. This is because the fee covers payment processing costs (including Stripe's transaction fee) that are incurred and non-recoverable at the time of purchase.
The service fee is fully refundable only when the event is cancelled by the organizer (Section 3) or in the case of a verified duplicate charge error.
7. How to Request a Refund
Refund requests may be submitted through either channel:
- Email: Send to support@tamashago.com with subject “Refund Request” and include: your full name, registered email address, order confirmation number, event name and date, and reason for the request.
- Account dashboard: Log in, navigate to your order history, and click “Request Refund” on the applicable order.
8. Processing Times
TamashaGo will acknowledge all refund requests within 24 hours of receipt. Eligible refunds are fully processed to the original payment method within 5 business days of TamashaGo's eligibility determination. Additional 1–5 business days may be required for the credit to appear depending on your card issuer or bank; TamashaGo is not responsible for delays imposed by financial institutions.
9. Chargebacks
Before initiating a chargeback with your card issuer, buyers are strongly encouraged to contact TamashaGo first at support@tamashago.com. A buyer who initiates a chargeback for a ticket to an event that was delivered substantially as advertised, or for a situation that does not qualify for a refund under this policy, without first attempting resolution through TamashaGo, will be permanently banned from the platform. TamashaGo will contest all such chargebacks with full transaction evidence.
The $15.00 Stripe chargeback fee is absorbed by TamashaGo for disputes TamashaGo wins. Chargebacks arising directly from organizer conduct (e.g., organizer-cancelled events where the organizer failed to authorize prompt refunds) may result in that fee being passed through to the organizer.
